How To Install LED Light On Wood Slat Wall

Prepare LED And Wood Slat Wall And All Of The Materials

If you’re a beginner of home design, we have finished LED light, you can just put them on the wood slat wall panel.

If you’re a big DIY fan, then here’s the list you need:

LED light strips (make sure the color and the length are just what you need)

LED Mounting Profile

Power supply for the LED Light

Connectors (if needed)

Double side adhesive tape

Screws and brackets (optional, for a more secure installation)

Drill (if using screws)

Power source nearby

Plan The Layout Of The Led Light

Decide the exactly place where you want to install the LED light on your wood slat wall.

Measure the length of the place where you want to install the LED strips so you’ll know how long you’ll need.

Prepare The Surface Of The Wood Slat Wall

Make sure the surface of the wood slat wall is clean and dry before the installation.

Cut The LED Strip And Assemble The Profile

The length of the LED Strip and the Profile depends on your design, the profile needs to be 2cm shorter than LED strip, because the end cap also need a little space. Assemble the Led Stripe and the profile.

Attach The LED Strips On The Wood Slat Wall

Put the double side adhesive tape behind the profile, and put it on the wood slat wall. Carefully place the LED strip along the desired path on the wood slat wall, and press it firmly against the surface to ensure adhesion.

Connect All The Strips

If your LED strips come in multiple segments, you’ll need to connect them together. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for this step, make sure the connections are secure. You can hide the cables behind the wood slat wall panel, or another side of the wall.
